Angus Armstrong Hall
The main hall (with a stage) full capacity up to 250 people, with modern digital audio/visual equipment, stage lighting and a hearing loop for the hard of hearing.
Bookings
The Jubilee Hall has 10 rooms available for hire and suitable for all events. Ranging from the Angus Armstrong Hall, with audio-visual equiped stage and a full capacity of 250, to our medium sized and smaller meeting rooms.
A kitchen with catering facilities is available on the ground floor, and the hall has both an entertainments licence and a liquor licence. The Jubille Hall is wheelchair accessible.
Free Wi Fi is available throughout the hall linked to fibre cabinet broadband with provider guaranteed speeds up to 73 Mbs.

Ground Floor
Simonside Room
An adjoining medium sized room.
Cheviot Room
Also medium sized adjoining the main hall, with its own small stage and 75 inch TV screen for films and presentations. The Cheviot room has its own facilities for light refreshments.
Howarth Room
Small meeting room.
Kitchen
A modern fully fitted kitchen

The kitchen is adjacent to the Angus Armstrong Hall, and linked to the Simonside room via a serving hatch.

First floor
Accessible by lift (with the exception of the Craigside room). First floor catering facilities are availble adjacent to the Dovecote room.
Dovecote Room
Medium sized conference room with projection facilities and drop down screen. Accessible by lift.
Coquetdale Room
Small meeting room.
Thrum Room
Small meeting room.
Blaeberry Room
Small meeting room.
Cragside Room
Small meeting room accessible only by stairs.
Special Facilities
Audio-visual facilities
The audio visual equipment in the Angus Armstrong Hall is available at an extra charge, currently set at £15.
The system is suitable for digital film projection and for computer-aided projection of presentations. It includes surround sound and a large drop down screen, as well as PC input.
Projector and laptop equipment, situated in the Dovecote room, using its own drop down screen, is also available for hire.
There is a 75 inch large screen smart TV in the Cheviot Room suitable for films, entertainment, education or business presentations.

Disabled access
For wheelchair users there is ground level access, accessible toilet and a lift to the first floor.

An increased hourly rate applies after 11pm.
